New fees for searches, official copies and inspections come into force on 7
August (there are no increases – yet – in the scale and fixed fees for
registering properties). Surprisingly, this is the first increase in these fees
since 1993 (in essence, most £2 fees become £3, and most £4 fees
become £6).
