What's here?
Practice Points and Articles: you can access over a thousand Practice Points (short) and Articles (long). They come from major law firms (such as Allen & Overy and Lovells) as well as journals like The Property Law Journal, The In-House Lawyer, and The Practical Lawyer. All provide relevant, practical, information - so you can keep up to date with property law and practice.
Conveyancing Guides: our free specialist guides written by practitioners and available only on this site (topics covered include LTA 1954; Pre-contract and Contract & Exchange). It adds up to a complete Conveyancing Guidebook.
E-mail alert: every two weeks we update the site with the latest developments and send you an email alert. It is a simple updating service for the big news
Weblinks: easy links to internet materials (eg Land Registry Guides; LA addresses; PPGs; full reports of major property cases; relevant property legislation - Acts and SIs; Law Society professional guidance; SDLT, VAT practice notes... hundreds of links). And we have filtered out the extraneous clutter - we only list to sites of practical value.
Thousands and thousands of pages of information - updated every two weeks.
Nowhere else can you get so much information for so little money!
What's not here?
We have weeded-out the clutter and concentrated on what is important to busy property lawyers. But because we focus on the practical we do not claim to cover all property law developments. And nor do we update daily (we update every two weeks), because most of our subscribers are hard-working lawyers who do not have the time to check for every daily update. Whilst there are other on-line services available that do provide 101% coverage, that is not our aim. [If you do want such a service then we strongly recommend practicallaw.com's Property Service which we think is by far the best offering on the market. Regrettably, we are not fans of The Estate Gazette's egi.co.uk].
How much?
£149pa. Second and subsequent subscriptions in the same firm cost only £79.
Our separate CPD scheme is £99pa. So a subscription + CPD would normally be £149 + £99 = £248. But if you buy both together then you pay only £198 - a saving of £50!
