New versions of the TransAction forms have been made available by the
Law Society (as at 1 August). They can be viewed online, at the Law
Society’s website.
As is well known, HIPs are now required for all three-bedroomed
properties (from 10 September). One other aspect that has been
clarified is that the preparation of an HIP is not subject to Money
Laundering Regs 2007 (because this is merely a preparatory stage to
marketing a property, as opposed to assisting in the planning of a
