Undertaking – discharge Print
Whenever you give a professional undertaking make sure that the undertaking is eventually discharged. Do not simply assume that is the case (eg if you have sent off a particular document to the other side). Always go for a formal discharge – this will be either by the other side giving you a written acknowledgement that the undertaking is discharged, or by the other side returning the original undertaking to you.
