Certificate of Title – City of London |

The City of London Law Society (CLLS) publishes a standard form
Certificate of Title, which is designed to reduce negotiation over the form
and content of such certificates. It is used in many commercial
transactions (and, indeed, some lenders insist on it being used). Note
that new editions of both the Long Form and Short Form have recently
been published (6th edition and 3rd edition respectively). They can be
downloaded from www.citysolicitors.org.uk.
