Planning - changes Print
A reminder that important changes in planning law came into effect on 24 August. In particular, the lifetime of a planning permission (full or outline) is reduced from five to three years. In addition, it will no longer be possible to extend the validity of an unimplemented planning permission. Furthermore, it will now be mandatory to supply a ‘design and access statement’ with many planning permission applications (this change came into effect on 10 August). © Practical Lawyer
